The Lions Club of Segamat, with the cooperation of Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Segamat organized their 6th. Blood Donation Campaign on the 20th. May at Dewan Pahlawan, Hospital Segamat.

 All the blood donors were  school teachers from Segamat. A total of 112 bags of blood were collected on that day. Light refreshment were provided to the teachers by our club.

 Segamat

  In conjunction with the 15th. Anniversary celebration of Segamat Muhibbah Dialysis Centre, Lions Club of Segamat’s members visited their centre on the 19th. March.They were brief on the maintenance and care of the centre by their advisors. Before they left, the Club contributed Rm.1000 to the centre from their Project Funds.

Leo Telematch 2010

            The Leo Club of Sekolah Tinggi organized a Telematch for Leo members on the 17^th. March. Lions, Lioness and Leos from nearby schools were invited. President Ang Chee Siong was there as the Presiding Officer; Zone 17 Chairperson Tee Piaw Tian, Lions and Lioness were present to lend their support to the organizing Leo Club. This Club had been dormant for quite some years due to membership problem and inactive President; they are all sixth formers and usually transferred from other school. For fiscal year 2009-2010, we met and discussed with their teacher advisor, informing that the post of President should be reserved for fourth formers.

Programme started with President Ang Chee Siong calling the meeting to order, followed by Leo President Francis Heng welcome address, Ice-Breaking, Leo School Quest and water games. The activities end at 5.30pm. We would like to congratulate the organizing committee and Leos of Sekolah Tinggi for their efforts and cooperation. They are the only Leo Club with many ethnic background.

The Lions and Lioness Club of Segamat’s members visited deaf and dumb students at SK Temenggung Abdul Rahman on the 8th. of March. Altogether there were 14 students with that type of handicap. The Lions and Lioness contributed a Laser Printer costing Rm.250 to the students and provided them with light refreshment.Their intentions were to let the childrens knew that they were not forgotten.

Batu Anam, Segamat

 Blood Donation Campaign, organized by Lion Club Of Segamat on the 7^th March 2010 at the Batu Anam Community Hall was the fourth (4^th) time this fiscal year. Lions and Lionesses were there to assit in the registration and Lion Dr. Ng Chai Bing assited in checking  whether the donors were healthy.

Light  refreshment were served to those who turned up and 59 bags blood were collected.
